so what is a community recreation officer?

They are a leader

As a Community Recreation Officer (CRO) you are employed to organise and run sports sessions and community events for people in your own community.

“it means everything”

“It means a lot, being someone who is a role model to Noonkanbah kids, and who helps them build their self-confidence. Running sports after school and even carnivals for kids and community. Mainly I like trying to get community involved to be part of it with their kids”
