About the role

Do you have a passion for sport, recreation, and developing communities?

We are looking for a local Active Communities Coordinator (full-time) to join our team in Halls Creek.  This position has the unique opportunity to build relationships with local people, schools, and service providers. Through those relationships, you will plan, implement, and deliver Garnduwa’s Kimberley Active Community (KAC) Project and other programs and activities across the Halls Creek region and surrounding remote communities.

This varied position provides the opportunity to travel, be active and guide community toward positive behaviours and healthy lifestyles. The role is based in Halls Creek, however, it has a Kimberley-wide footprint and the ability to travel regularly and remotely is an integral requirement of this role. 

The Active Communities Coordinator provides support and supervision to the Halls Creek Senior Development Officer as well as the region’s Community Recreation Officers (casual staff).
