Riley selected to represent Australia at international emerging leaders summit

Riley has led various youth leadership programs for Garnduwa.

Our West Kimberley Area Manager Riley Dolman is representing Australia at the 2024 Australia-ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program (A2ELP).

The program was launched in 2016 by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Australian-ASEAN Council.

Riley will join 14 other emerging leaders from Australia and various Southeast Asian nations to enhance their respective leadership potential, strengthen and expand professional networks between Australia and Southeast Asia, and showcase Australian and Southeast Asian creativity and entrepreneurship.

Riley is a proud Eastern Arrernte man who manages our West Kimberley operations and programming. His passion for the engagement and development of remote communities has seen him travel regularly across the Kimberley.

Riley's focus is on building strong relationships and understanding the challenges and opportunities present in townships and communities throughout the Kimberley.

On top of Riley's responsibilities at Garnduwa, he also holds a Volunteer Director position at Fair Game, a charity that recycles and repurposes sports equipment and delivers culturally informed healthy programs to under-serviced communities in Western Australia.

Leadership is a core value that informs our operations and programming, a value that Riley embodies and is deservedly recognised for.
