Garnduwa is looking for a full-time Active Communities Coordinator to join our team in Halls Creek.

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with local communities, schools, and service providers to deliver our Kimberley Active Communities (KAC) Project and a range of other programs and initiatives. You’ll play a key role in promoting healthy, active lifestyles across Halls Creek and surrounding remote communities.

About the Role

As the Active Communities Coordinator, you’ll:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and stakeholders.

  • Plan, implement and deliver sport and recreation activities that encourage positive behaviours and wellbeing.

  • Support and supervise the local Senior Development Officer and a team of casual Community Recreation Officers.

  • Travel regularly throughout the Kimberley region to deliver programs and connect with remote communities.

This is a hands-on, diverse role perfect for someone who enjoys being active, engaging with people, and making a real impact at a grassroots level.
