Deadly Diva Day East Kimberley and November 2018
The 2018 Garnduwa East Kimberley Deadly Diva Days brought women and young women across the East Kimberley together to connect, educate, share and have fun!
Here are some pictures of the Kununurra Deadly Diva Day:
A great day was enjoyed both in Halls Creek (15th) and Kununurra (13th) that offered a variety of fun and interactive sessions delivered by organisations based locally and from Broome. The theme was 'holistic wellbeing' and focussed on mental health, physical health, social health, culture, connection to country, nutrition and self care.

The most valuable part of these events? Connection and Relationships between women and generations. Garnduwa continues to strengthen it's relationships in the East Kimberley and understand the healing and long-term benefits of connection to support, mentor, and guide the future female adults and leaders of this region.
Thank you to the schools, Alta-1 Alternative School, Alive and Kicking, Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service, Wunan Foundation, Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service, Kimberley Population Health Unit, Shire of Halls Creek, Department of Child Protection and Youth Justice for participating in the events.
